ABOUT ME

Daisy is a very sweet and gentle 5 year old mixed breed female. Her puppyhood as a stray was spent playing Russian roulette with her safety on a daily basis. Sadly her luck ran out one day when she was hit by a speeding car. The trauma shattered her left back leg and resulted in a hernia. Surgical correction fixed the hernia but tragically the surgery to save her back leg failed and she had to have it amputated months later. Despite all the hardships Daisy went through including growing up in an overcrowded shelter, she maintains a rosy outlook on life. Daisy is always happy and looking forward to the next adventure, whether it’s a fun walk with volunteers, a day out at the dogpark or simply hanging out and playing with her canine friends. Daisy walks like a dream on a leash, is social and friendly with other dogs and cats. She is looking for her own family to share a life of safety and happiness with.
