SILK: THE COMEBACK QUEEN! 👑🐾 If there's one thing Silk has taught us, it's never to underestimate a girl with a little determination, a big heart, and an impressive ability to bounce back! For over a year, Silk lived in isolation while battling a liver condition that required a strict hepatic diet. No feline friends, little human affection, and far too much time alone. We worried that such a long period of isolation might cause her to withdraw into herself. However, once fully recovered and in foster care, our girl decided she had some serious catching up to do. And what a delight she's turned out to be! Silk is affectionate, gentle, easygoing, and wonderfully independent. She seeks out her humans for pets and company, and while she's not officially a lap cat, she's definitely considering the position. She's not quite ready to be picked up and smothered with affection, but she absolutely wants to be included in her humans' lives. She's a master of self-entertainment, happily amusing herself with her toys or something as simple as a pencil on the floor. She loves birdwatching from the balcony and snoozing on her favourite pillow at regular intervals throughout the day. But her greatest passion? Television. No, seriously! 📺 Silk absolutely adores her favourite programmes and will spend ages happily watching and interacting with whatever is happening on screen. She's even taken to watching football matches with her foster dad. She's not particularly vocal, although she'll speak up when she has something to say. She loves her food, ADORES treats, gets along with other cats, and is sweet and gentle with respectful children. Silk would make a wonderful companion. She's low-maintenance, independent, affectionate without being demanding, and simply a joy to have around. What makes Silk so special is that despite everything she endured, she never lost her desire to love and be loved. After so long alone, she's blossomed into the happiest, most endearing little character. She's fought her battle, made her comeback, and now deserves the one thing she's waited far too long for. A forever home to call her own. ❤️ Preferably with a comfy pillow, plenty of treats, and a decent television package!
