Success Story
Dusk was rescued two years ago. She was trying to cross the highway to search for food when she was hit by a car. She managed to drag herself to the side of the highway to wait for an to her excruciating pain when our volunteer found her.
Dusk's back leg was unfortunately beyond saving and had to be amputated. Once at the shelter, she bonded with one of our tripods Kelly.
Dusk was always a calm, gentle dog. She rarely barked and was always happy to receive pats and cuddles.
Her beauty and grace touched many hearts. Once we found her a home in the UK, she was placed in foster care where she flourished. A few weeks ago her journey towards a new life void of pain and suffering began.

Our gorgeous girl made it to the UK towards her furever home and is living her best life with her new mom and sibling.
The journey of a rescue dog from a life of hardship to one filled with love and happiness is often long and difficult but always worth it. Our sincerest thanks to all the selfless volunteers who took part in Dusk's journey. To the volunteer who rescued her, she owes you her life. The volunteers/vet and shelter staff who cared for her and nursed her back to health, you made it possible for her to be happy and safe. And ofcourse her foster Brandee who helped her beyond words to transition to being a beloved house pet
