Dani was dumped outside the American base on January 2022. It became clear almost immediately that something was very wrong. His head was swollen to almost double the size it should be, and he couldn't walk in a straight line
Xrays confirmed our worse fears. Little Dani suffered from two fractures to his skull (most likely from direct trauma to the head). The resulting swelling around his brain was threatening his life
It was touch and go for a few days. Medication to reduce the swelling was administered at the clinic and the rest was up to Dani. But of course he pulled through. Little Dani was a real fighter. Once he was safe to leave the clinic, he continued his recovery in foster
Once he was fully recovered and old enough, Dani was ready for his furever home in the United States. He made the journey smoothly and he is now living his best life with the past completely behind him.
